Regular resistance training is highly effective at making significant improvements to your muscle and bone health.
Which is super important when it comes to keeping us mobile and able to get on with the demands of everyday life with more ease!
Its also a great way to boost your mood, manage stress, anxiety and boost your wellbeing.
This becomes even more important for women as we are more prone to bone thinning and reduction to muscle mass as we age.
We need strong bones and muscles to keep us healthy, mobile and active!
Resistance training and increasing our bodies muscle mass also increases our BMR (Basic metabolic rate - how many calories we burn on average throughout the day) which is a huge bonus when it comes to weight management!
But I don’t want to get bigger with bulky muscles?
I hate to break it to you, to achieve this kind of physique your thinking of requires several hours at the gym4 plus times per week and lifting very heavy weights.
These classes are not designed for this kind of goal. Our focus is on boosting your energy, mood, and increasing your muscle, bone strength, mobility and health.
There’s also the benefits it has on your sleep, stress management and so much more.
I firmly believe that everyone should have some form of resistance/strength training in their life!
But I know all to well, it can be difficult to know where to start, what exercises to do, what weight do I use, am I lifting them correctly?
This is where I can help!
Strength and Resistance training is a big part of my 20 years in the Health and Wellbeing industry - Teaching Bums & Tums, BodyPump, Boot Camp, Kettlebells and being a Personal Trainer for many years in Health Clubs/my own studio and putting it to practice in my own weekly workouts at the gym.

FAQs
Is it good for beginners?
Yes, its great for all levels. I will guide you all the way. Advise on most appropriate weights and intensity to progressively build on your strength.
Can I carry over missed classes?
No, your space is reserved for you over each 4 week course and missed classes cannot be carried over. I price the blocks in a way that rewards your commitment and you will also be more committed when you book a block of sessions! You can however attend an alternative evening within the same 4 week block.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes all venues have either their own car park and off street parking free to use. All we ask is that you are respectful to others when parking your car and ensure your not blocking entry or exits to other users or residents.
Is drop in available?
As each 4 week block is progressive over each week and clients booking the block course have their space reserved over the whole block it is not guaranteed there will be space and the block is priced in a way that rewards committing to a block of sessions. So yes it is available at £8.00 per class depending on availability.
Do I need to bring anything?
bring yourself, a mat and some water. All other equipment such as kettlebells, barbells and dumbbells are supplied.

Terms & Conditions
T&C’s - Payment for block passes or courses are to be made in advance to confirm your space. All 4,5 or 6 Week passes are valid over specific dates and missed sessions cannot be carried over to the next block.
