HOLISTIC YIN YOGA

This beautiful, more passive, therapeutic and mindful style of yoga is one of my favourite classes to teach. Working on releasing both physical and emotional tension created in our body and mind through physical & Emotional stress, anxiety, overwhelm, repetitive movements or a variety of other challenges life can throw at us!

In these practices we explore a variety of themes including the Five Element Theory, Chakras, Mindfulness, Physical and Emotional Tension release techniques.

Yin Yoga postures to support you both physically and emotionally in the Summertime and beyond.

Grab yourself some pillows a blanket, pop on some relaxing music and enjoy.

50 Minute Holistic Yin Yoga practice themed around the five element theory. Creating balance and harmony within the body and mind. This practice focuses on the Spring Wood Element.

Recommended props - Blocks, Bolster or Pillows & Blanket

Myo Fascial Muscle Release using tennis balls to reduce muscle tension, combined with Yin Yoga poses to help improve joint mobility.

Staring with a Letting Go Meditation to help support both physically and mentally letting go of tension and finishing with a guided forgiveness meditation to help us mentally let go of emotional tension by sending forgiveness out to ourselves or any other people we feel need it.

1 Hour Practice

Introduction to stillness. Cultivating stillness in the body and mind through yin yoga, breath awareness and stillness of both the body and mind. Great practice for beginners onwards

Part of the Five Element Yin Yoga Series, this practice focuses on the Wood Element supporting the Liver and Gallbladder Meridian Lines.
